for Guber Banca 19.8 million profits in 2023

The shareholders’ meeting of Guber Banca – registered and operational headquarters in Via Corfù in Brescia – approved the results of the 2023 budget. All the indicators record very positive performances and confirm the consolidation of the path undertaken six years ago with the obtaining of the banking license, from an institution that has seen a progressive launch of new business areas, always operating at a digital level.

Over the course of 12 months, Guber Banca saw growth in net profit to 19.8 million euros from 17 million in 2022, with 11 billion in “assets under management”. Net assets stood at 119.7 million euros compared to 104.2 in the previous year. The intermediation margin also grew to 53.9 million euros, compared to 49 in 2022. During 2023, the institute further improved its solidity index, recording a CET1 coefficient equal to 28.6% (the CET1 average for the so-called “less significant” banks as of 31 December 2022 is 14.2%).

Over the course of the last year, very significant numbers were also recorded in the reduction of gender gap in top positions: women in managerial roles have grown by 30% (reaching 36% of the total managers) and the female component in the Board of Directors, led by President Francesca Bazoli, is 40% (compared to the European average of 38 %). Furthermore, the roles of the Control Functions are filled 100% by women.

“The results of the 2023 budget – declared the CEO Francesco Guarneri – are very satisfactory and are an indication of the prudent management that distinguishes our future-oriented way of banking. These numbers represent a solid basis for the work of the coming years Our development strategy has always made us look at a medium-term time horizon, which is fundamental in guiding our choices.”
