REGGIO CALABRIA Change at the top of the Reggio Calabria police headquarters. The successor of Bruno Megale, appointed police commissioner of Milan, will be Salvatore La Rosa, until yesterday police commissioner of Trapani. Originally from Messina, where he graduated in Law, La Rosa, 62 years old, joined the State Police in 1989, when he won the competition for deputy commissioner. He directed the police stations of Priolo Gargallo, Avola, Noto, Lamezia Terme and Gela. He also worked on the Syracuse flying squad where he was also chief of staff of the same police station from 2007 to 2012, the year in which he held the role of deputy to the police commissioner of Messina. In 2016 he was admitted to the Higher Education course at the Police School in Rome. In June of the following year he obtained the Higher Education qualification and, at La Sapienza University, the II level master’s degree in “Security, Joint Force Coordination and International Cooperation”. Before leading the police headquarters of Trapani, Salvatore La Rosa was also police commissioner of Ragusa.
