The lion’s share is made up of two medical branches, that of emergency and emergency medicine and that of anesthesia and resuscitation. The Iblea healthcare company has announced a public competition for qualifications and exams to fill 85 permanent medical director positions. Applications must be submitted by June 2nd. The range of disciplines is wide: 4 places for general surgery, 6 for orthopedics and traumatology, 1 for vascular surgery, 2 for geriatrics, 1 for ENT, 5 for urology, 20 for emergency and emergency medicine, 1 for radiotherapy, 2 for infectious diseases, 22 for anesthesia and resuscitation, 1 for transfusion medicine, 1 for medical genetics, 1 for child neuropsychiatry, 2 for clinical pharmacology and toxicology, 4 for food and nutrition hygiene, 1 for occupational medicine and workplace safety, 5 for organization of services basic healthcare, 6 for psychiatry.

“With the reopening of the competition season, consistently with the 2024-26 Requirements Plan shared by the regional Health Department, the Company’s desire to make up for the shortage of doctors is confirmed. As highlighted by the numbers – states Giuseppe Drago – there are still critical issues relating to the Emergency Department and the specialty of Anesthesia and Resuscitation, branches for which we are making every effort to guarantee continuity of care, also through the awarding of freelance roles”.
The publication of the notice in the Official Journal of the Region and, in extract, in the Official Journal of the Italian Republic, officially starts the recruitment procedures. It will be possible to submit applications by 2 June 2024.
