Also present was a delegation of 54 people who serve in the municipalities of the Tyrrhenian Sea of Cosenza, specifically those in the Tortora-Guardia Piemontese area.
The demonstration was called by the trade unions, who are asking, once again, for certainties for the future. Even mayors and representatives of municipal administrations did not fail to provide their support.
In fact, in November the majority of the 4,000 Calabrian Tis risk being left behind, or at most finding themselves with an inclusion check in their hands, around 300 euros a month. The financial coverage for a first 18-month contract should be 60 million euros, the fact is that the Government has only provided 5.
For their part, the Municipalities cannot deprive themselves of a workforce that is solving many of the gaps that have been present, for decades, in the organisations’ staffing plans. Entire offices, as well as maintenance departments, would collapse if there were no Tis.
The fact is that without government money, administrations cannot do anything. In short, mathematics is not an opinion, but in the same way the precarious condition in which “the temporary workers of the public administration” have found themselves for years cannot continue.
