BELOTTI BETWEEN CLUB BRUGGE AND FUTURE: HE IS WELL IN FLORENCE

Two goals in 1256 minutes is certainly not the haul that Andrea Belotti he dreamed when he said yes to the transfer to Fiorentina at the end of January, but the latest matches give rise to hope that something may have changed. Not so much from the point of view of performances, which the class of ’93 has almost always guaranteed since he was entrusted with a place in the Viola attack, but rather for the offensive actions created and above all the goals, with the one made last Thursday to Franchi which could mark a new beginning in Gallo’s career, a player capable of going well beyond the 20 seasonal goals in his career but returning from a downward trend that he hopes to interrupt at this very end of the season.

The love affair with Florence began
Moving from Rome to Florence was rather simple for Belotti and his family, who had to leave Rome after more than two years, but he had no difficulty in settling in in a short time even in Tuscany, where the former Turin striker is finding it very good and managing to enjoy the city and a less “dispersive” climate than it could be in the Capital. This could become an important detail for a player looking for a relaunch and a new solution given his contract expiring with Roma in 2025: despite being destined to return to the Giallorossi in June, it is difficult to think that Belotti could remain at the court of Daniele De Rossi unless his contract is extended at lower prices. The same one that Fiorentina could offer him: the lily club is also reflecting on the choices to make for the attack of the future and the confirmed hypothesis for Belotti is not impossible even if not simple. The dry loan will expire in June, but the parties will meet to discuss a possible continuation of the relationship.

The future can wait
In the meantime, however, there is Club Brugge, perhaps the most important match of the year for both Fiorentina and Belotti, who would like to replicate what they showed at the Franchi just under a week ago. In Belgium everything will be different but Gallo has already shown that he knows how to wedge himself into the Nerazzurri defense and he is working on this in preparation for the match: the Belgians can also attack by pressing and he knows that he will have his chances to score another goal, he will be alone it’s up to him to be able to make Florence dream and who knows, maybe secure confirmation for next season too.
