The first WOMM (Word of Mouth Market) has officially started in Monza. The English acronym indicates a spontaneous market That it grows by word of mouth and it’s a pilot project Of social solidarity in favor of Mammarita Center.

The idea came to the municipal and regional councilor Martina Sassoli which involved a group of mothers and, at the moment, the Villoresi college.
Until Friday 10 May at the Villoresi College you can bring clothing for children and teenagers up to 12 years of age in excellent condition. How much will be collected then intended for a market to be held in September.

«All proceeds from the sale – explains Sassoli – will be donated to the Mammarita Center as well as any clothes that remain unsold. In addition to Villoresi, I have already received the interest of other private schools in Monza, but I would like to extend the proposal to state schools and to organize the market inside a state school.».
LThe idea was born when the son’s wardrobe was changing seasons: «Anyone who has young children knows this well – explains Sassoli – you find yourself cleaning out your wardrobe because last year’s clothes are unlikely to still fit».

So here’s the idea give a new life to these clothes (no shoes except snow and rain boots, but in excellent condition) that can be worn by others.
We start with the harvest and the first market in Septemberand, but the idea of the group of organizers is of hold two markets a year for autumn/winter and spring/summer clothes.
