The Budget and Planning Commission approved the bill by majority, which with a maxi-amendment absorbed six other provisions containing the recognition of off-balance sheet debts for a total of 63,527.04 euros. For most of the duration, the Commission session involved updating the state of the art of the works for the construction of new hospitals and specialized health centres.
North Bari Hospital
The status of implementation of the financial planning of the hospital construction project of the North Barese Hospital was taken into account, with the managers of the ASL BT and BA and the regional managers of the Health Department being listened to.
It emerged from the two local health authorities that on 15 April the clinical management plan was completed and the request was sent to the Health Department to express the relevant opinion, which however has not yet been released.
The regional managers, however, have made it known that this afternoon there will be a meeting with the general directors of the ASL BT and BA to verify the sharing situations, in consideration of the repercussions in terms of competence on both local health authorities.
It was recalled that the program agreement referred to for the resources to be used was notified on 27 July 2023, the date from which thirty months will begin for the purposes of the deadline as the maximum deadline for the award and implementation of the works for the realization. From an estimate of the time it should not go beyond the month of January 2026. The hope is that the favorable opinion will be released to the Local Health Authority as soon as possible and that today the clinical management plan will be examined in order to be able to update it in sixty days, otherwise the point will be included in the agenda of next Monday’s meeting.
