Manfredonia, how to fix a broken town (Oasi Laguna del Re)
The Naturalistic Studies Center is pleased to announce a new cultural initiative which will take place on Saturday 11 May from 5.00 pm in the enchanting setting of the Laguna del Re Oasis, in Siponto (Manfredonia), with the participation of Trifone Gargano, university professor with vast experience in teaching Italian literature and linguistic teaching, author of numerous publications on pop literature and always involved in the field of civic and cultural education with his participation in numerous television programs and evenings in squares and theaters.
At the center of the event, entitled “ How to fix a broken country – Journey into nature between literature and pop songs”, which promises to be an engaging and enlightening experience for all those who love culture and the beauty of nature, there will be the presentation of the book “Paese fault” by Prof Gargano, inspired by verse 94 of Canto XIV of Dante Alighieri’s Inferno .
It will be a literary journey through literature, comics, cinema and songs that serve to raise awareness of the environmental disaster caused by man and the changes that need to be made.
Walking along the paths of the Oasis you will take an interesting journey into nature and culture, guided by the wise and ironic management of Prof. Gargano.
The meeting therefore presents itself as a unique opportunity for the public to explore the link between nature, culture and society, examining the rich intersection between literature and popular music and will be a precious opportunity to cheerfully address issues of crucial importance, encouraging greater awareness and involvement in the civic and cultural life of our communities.
