Sicily | Elections. The tour of the M5S candidates started from Catania » Webmarte.tv

The “Sicily that matters in Europe” tour started from Catania, which will take the movement’s candidates to all nine provinces of the island.

“We must bring to the polls those who are fed up with political scandals.”

Thus the regional coordinator for Sicily of the M5s Nuccio di Paola, on the occasion of the first stop in Catania.

“Too many scandals have been engulfing politics in recent times, it seems like we have returned to the years of Clean Hands, the bar of morality has been lowered too much and we can no longer allow this.

For this reason, with Antoci and the other candidates we want to send a strong and clear signal to all Sicilians: ethics in politics, which has always been in the Movement’s DNA, must absolutely be recovered”.

For Di Paola, it is natural that in this context citizens are moving further and further away from politics and the Movement wants to prevent this.

“For this reason our task must be to speak to citizens and remind them that there are many more reasons for going to the polls than for deserting them, leaving the field free for Meloni and the right who day after day are demolishing welfare and healthcare, sinking Italy and the South in particular.

At today’s meeting with citizens in Catania, in addition to Di Paola, all the candidates were present: the frontrunner Giuseppe Antoci, Patrizio Cinque, Antonella Di Prima, Virginia Farruggia, Antonino Randazzo and Matilde Montaudo, together with other representatives of the M5s in the institutions.
