Parma-Cremonese, giant screen in Piazza Pecchia: “Ready to party but first three points”

The Municipality of Parma has set up a giant screen in Piazza Garibaldi for Sunday 5 May at 3pm, to allow those who have not been able to purchase tickets for the match to watch Parma-Cremonese and take part in Parma’s promotion party to Serie A Soccer. At the end of the match the team is expected in Piazza Garibaldi, where the celebrations will continue.

In view of the celebrations, considering the forecast of a significant influx of people in Piazza Garibaldi at the end of the meeting, the municipal administration has foreseen some limitations on the sale and takeaway of drinks in glass containers or aluminum cans in the historic center area.

From 2 pm until the end of the event, the limitations will be triggered within the perimeter of the historic center delimited by the following streets, also included: Via Berenini, Strada Martiri della Libertà, Via Pier Maria Rossi, Viale Tanara, Via Fratti, Via Shop, via IV Novembre, Via Toschi, Viale Mariotti, Via Toscanini, Viale Basetti.

There is a ban on the administration and sale to take away of any drink in glass containers or cans, with the exception of table administration carried out together with the meal to patrons seated at the tables of public establishments.

There is also a ban on the administration and sale for takeaway of alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of more than 5% contained in containers of any kind and material, with the exception of the sole administration at the table carried out together with the meal to customers seated at the tables of public establishments.

Also within the area of ​​the celebrations for the promotion of the Parma 1913 football team to the top flight, there is an absolute ban on the introduction of alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content exceeding 5% in any container.

The prohibition referred to in the previous points is also extended to commercial activities in a fixed location and in an itinerant form and to artisanal activities for the sale of self-produced food products operating within the areas and perimeter as defined above.
