In an event that involved numerous representatives from all over the world, our region had the honor of being present with a delegation of IeFP students from Cnos Fap Valle d’Aosta.
During his speech, the Holy Father reiterated the crucial importance of professional training in the process of individual growth, underlining the need to develop not only technical skills, but also human virtues. He focused on three key concepts: young people, training, profession.

The Councilor underlined that the participation of Valle d’Aosta in this event demonstrates the constant commitment to training policies in favor of the young people of the region. It is significant to note how Pope Francis emphasized the role and value of young people who attend VET courses, recognizing the merit of the training model adopted.
The Pope’s speech emphasized three fundamental pillars: young people, training and profession. He highlighted that the young person must be at the center of the training process, that he must make the most of the opportunities offered by technology, but without forgetting that technology alone does not solve human problems.
Finally, the importance of the profession as an identifying and fundamental element of every individual’s life was reiterated, inviting us not to interpret work exclusively in terms of earnings, but as an expression of one’s dignity and contribution to the common good.
The day, in which around 7000 young people took part, was coordinated by Paola Vacchina from Valle d’Aosta, President of Forma, an association founded in 1999 by the CEI and promoted by Acli, Cisl, Cif, Coldiretti, Confap, Compagnia delle Opere, Confcooperative and from Mcl.
