On the eve of the championship match against Como, at home Modena the coach spoke at the press conference Pierpaolo Bisoli. These are some of his statements, taken from the official website of the Emilian club:
Honor. “We know we have to lick our wounds, I apologize again and I take full responsibility for not having brought home a positive result in Wednesday’s match. However, and I want to underline this, the team fought until the last available minute and I am sure they will do so also in the last two matches, with professionalism and competitive fury. Defeats often provide the most interesting ideas for building a better future.”
Choices. “Having seven unavailable shouldn’t be an alibi, but it inevitably takes away something important, it’s a number of absentees that would put any team in difficulty. Groups nowadays are made up of 23-24 players, so I still have valid alternatives for tomorrow, but only those who really want to achieve something important for the good of Modena will take the field.”
Opponent. “Como is a team with high values, which was immediately among the candidates for Serie A and is confirming itself as such. We know that they will want to celebrate the promotion, but we will do everything to not let them: we want to end with a positive result in front of our fans. We’re missing one point so we don’t have to cling to the calculations if the others reach 43.”
