«Two ticket offices near the station»

Today the “paper ticket” has become almost a collector’s item, in fact transport companies throughout Italy – and beyond – have started to develop apps on which to purchase and load their travel tickets, as well as accept additional payment methods compared to the ticket purchased on land or on board.

STP Spa offers its customers all the solutions to legitimately use the transport service, ensuring the purchase not only via the “DropTicket” smartphone application or, by accessing the portal set up on the website www.cotrap.it or via the Cotrap APP, but guaranteeing the presence of affiliated ticket offices for the traditional paper ticket and, in case of need, being able to purchase the ticket on board albeit at a higher rate to meet the needs of all users. Evidence of this are the 10 sales points present in the Trani area, where numerous lines and, therefore, numerous routes gravitate.

Points of sale selected through a careful and accurate choice. An online ticketing process would be desirable as it would cut management costs, eliminate waste and expenses related to the checks necessary to avoid malfunctions and damage to the ticket machines by the usual and inevitable “crafty people”, but nevertheless the company continues to facilitate those customers who still use paper tickets. In reference to what appeared anonymously in some press outlets regarding the impossibility of purchasing a paper ticket near the train station, the Company specifies that there are two ticket offices within a 100 meter radius near the station.

Furthermore, it operates from Monday to Saturday and does not operate on Sundays and public holidays, excluding the routes expressly indicated in the timetables. This was necessary to correct incorrect information provided to users and citizens.
