“‘Cooperative entrepreneurship opportunities for young people'”

“Safety in the workplace through the training of entrepreneurs and workers and the development of cooperative entrepreneurship as a precious opportunity for young people”. These are the issues that are particularly close to the heart of Francesco Pace, candidate of “La Civica – Forlì Cambia”, in support of the mayoral candidate Gian Luca Zattini, determined to bring his wealth of professional skills to the service of the community.

With over thirty years of experience in professional training institutions emanating from the cooperation and construction systems, Pace has chosen to run in the next administrative elections to put the skills and experience gained during this long journey at the service of the city. “I would like to bring my contribution for the improvement of the city – he explains – in a list like the one that Zattini supports in which the spirit of moderation and listening to all the contributions that come from civil society prevails. In La Civica Forlì cambia there is space for dialogue outside of ideologies or schematisms dictated by the parties”.

In this context, Pace is determined “to bring attention to the issue of safety in the workplace. To ensure this, professional training plays a crucial role in equipping workers with the skills necessary to carry out their tasks safely and, on the other, train entrepreneurs on how to create and maintain safe and respectful working environments.” “A State-Region agreement soon to be published – he says – also provides training for the employer, an absolutely innovative aspect compared to the previous legislation. Furthermore, in terms of training, there is a need at an entrepreneurial level for specialized manpower which requires more streamlined regulations to train young people and insert them more quickly into the world of work while always protecting the dignity of youth work”.

For Pace it is “a precious opportunity especially for the new generations, it is represented by cooperative entrepreneurship which offers a business model based on collaboration, equity and solidarity, while promoting democratic participation and fair redistribution of resources. “Through the cooperative world – read again – you do business not as an employee but as an entrepreneur yourself. Often, within a few years, small cooperatives establish themselves as important entities, particularly in the service sector”.
