Parmaclima is the only unbeaten team in Serie A group A, after Friday evening’s second round matches. “Meo” Saccardi’s ducals won the exciting Emilia derby at the expense of UnipolSai Bologna, despite making a few too many mistakes (3). The result on the scoreboard “Horses” changes in the base part of the first inning: the Fortitudo starter, Leon, puts the first five men of the home line-up on base: Angioi (winning bunt) scores on Noel Gonzalez’s double, the single in the middle of the fielders brings home other de points. The champions redeem themselves immediately in the 2nd: Liberatore’s diamond bounce scores Gamberini, who goes to first on an error and to third on Dobboletta’s double. The latter makes it 2-3 on Borghi’s single and a throwing error by the second baseman. At the 3rd the Frignani boys overtake at 4-3: single by Martina, home on Gamberini’s hit. Martina himself goes home on Dobboletta’s bouncer. The Parma yellow-blues resolve it in the 5th Leon puts Angioi and Luis Gonzalez on base and leaves room for Robles, who is touched in valid by Mineo (double) for the equalizer. Astorri’s sacrifice fly puts Parma ahead, who also make it 6-4 with Scerrato’s single. Erly Casanova (6bv-11so) completes the sixth attack with two outs at the plate and after 103 pitches leaves the plate to Perez for safety. Borghi (2/3) the best Bolognese club; Noel Gonzalez (2/3) and Angioi (2/4) the most consistent in the home line-up.

Jonathan Carbo makes up for the false start of his debut against Parma with a masterpiece: he properly supports Bbc Grosseto (6bv-8so with 106 pitches), a privateer in San Marino with a sumptuous offensive performance, with the first six of the batting order who touched the pitches of Quevedo (6bv-5so) and Baez (2bv-6so) and gave their team a shutout of great value due to the concentration shown by the Cuban pitcher (recovered by Penalver) and by the defense that held its own until the end to the powerful Titan hitters, with the exception of Celli (3/3) and Batista (3/4) who always put the Grosseto pitchers in difficulty. BBC Grosseto puts the first brick in the 2nd inning, with the single homer by Josè Garcia (2/3) which sends Quevedo’s second pitch over the fence. The Tuscans extend on the 3rd attempt: Tomsjansen (2/4) hits a single and runs to score on Piccini’s hit and the third baseman’s error. Martini scores the 3-0 by placing the serve in the middle of the fielders. The guest’s 4-0 was achieved by Vaglio (base) and the Dutchman Tomsjansen (single to the left) over the newly introduced Baez.

A double by Jesus Carrera, a wild pitch and a fly ball in the first inning condemned Big Mat Grosseto to a bitter defeat against Hotsand Macerata, at the end of a balanced match, dominated by the pitchers, with just three hits each. The match at Jannella breaks the deadlock in the 1st inning, with Carrera hitting a double, advancing to third with a wild pitch, and running home on Dudley Leonora’s sacrifice fly. The race is resolved here. For Stefano Cappuccini’s boys it wasn’t enough for the good performance of Remberto Barreto (1bv-6so in 4.2rl) and his relief Palumbo (2bv-3so), also because the Marche players, after the winner Manaurys Correa (3bv-1so) showed off a super Cuomo (0bv-3so in 1.2), who comes out great in a very delicate moment. The Angels starter leaves the platform to the former Bologna player, with first and second with one out. With the bases loaded, the reliever saves himself with two kappas, after arriving at a 3-1 count on Mercuri.
