Through the Pnrr funds of the Sports Bonus established by the Government’s Sports Department, the Pozzuoli Consortium has installed at the facility Trincone Altarpiece a photovoltaic system of 100Kw. All this was possible through the management of the works by Com.Progetti, a company from Pozzuoli, and the liberal provision by the companies Global Manifactoring Srl and Utensilsud Srl, both from Pollena Trocchia.
“An important innovation which, together with the interventions carried out by the Municipality of Pozzuoli within the PNRR, will allow us to save considerably in terms of electricity through renewable sources which will also give a new look to the entire sports facility of the Trincone Altarpiece of Monterusciello”he has declared Fulvio Palumbopresident of the consortium.
Grassroots sport and its closely related values, a fundamental factor for promoting well-being and improving the quality of life of citizens and the national community, playing a central role in protecting the physical and mental health of the people who practice it , offering fundamental opportunities for education and sociality, inclusion and cohesion, for actively combating inequalities, starting from those found in the urban and social peripheries, such as that of Monterusciello.
“The use of these financial resources produces increasingly positive benefits towards social impact, supporting projects that increase the value of sport in all its forms and certifying its usefulness for the common good,” continues Palumbo. Sports associations and clubs are experiencing a period of crisis, first the pandemic, then the high cost of energy and, therefore, the increase in raw material prices which have contributed to the growth of inflation. “Through the use of the sports bonus it will allow us to alleviate daily difficulties and we will also have a positive impact on the environment”concluded Palumbo.
