The ColleMar-Athon returns tomorrow, a very special race both for the panorama, from the heights of Barchi to the coast of Fano through ridges and ancient fortified villages such as Mondavio, Orciano, San Giorgio, Piagge, Cerasa and San Costanzo, and for the values that they represent those 42,195 km of racing different from any other marathon.
A race now in its 20th edition, which is launched by medieval bombardments, which is also combined with the 21.097 km half marathon which starts from the village of Mondolfo and arrives in Fano and will be valid as the Italian Paralympic Half Marathon Championship. One more reason that explains the nickname ‘Marathon of Values’: “The twentieth anniversary edition of our event will award the important title of national Paralympic half marathon champion and this fills us with pride – say the organizers –. rest, the ColleMar-athon has among its testimonials a great wheelchair athlete like Luca Panichi, who has competed in all the editions of our longest event since 2013. We have always carried forward the values of Inclusion, offering a contribution to ours humanitarian partners”. Info on the website www.collemar-athon.com. A 10 km route is also planned.
