negotiations to support the Northern League member Romito are underway

The Puglia political laboratory could reserve yet another twist. Which once again concerns the center-left: Italia Viva could in fact decide to leave the group that supports Michele Laforgia in the next municipal elections in Bari (supported by Five Star and the Italian Left) to decide to support Fabio Romito, center-right candidate, regional councilor of the Northern League.

For the moment these are rumors. But they are becoming more and more insistent. Especially since Laforgia signed the CGIL referendums to repeal the Jobs Act, that is, one of the identity battles of the Renzi government. This would not have been well digested by the former prime minister. To the point that Renzi would in fact be contemplating a surprise move: if he were to decide to say goodbye to Laforgia, the leader of Italia Viva would not, however, support Leccese (candidate of the Democratic Party and the Greens), but the centre-right candidate Romito, re-proposing a script on the model Basilicata. Where Renzi actually supported Vito Bardi, the centre-right candidate who won the last regional elections.
