Applause for Biagio Izzo and his brilliant comedy “The Art of Fraud”, on stage at the Augusteo theater in Naples until Friday 24 May. The human types of the comedy take shape in Massimo Comune’s elegant scenography thanks to the talent and experience of the protagonists. With Izzo, Carla Ferraro, Roberto Giordano, Ciro Pauciullo, Arduino Speranza And Adele Vitale. A close-knit team that leads spectators in a fun game.

The “scam with a good purpose” takes place in a crescendo of paradoxical moments that bring a smile to the public’s face. Izzo, as the swindling stepbrother (Francesco), sets the pace for the action and triggers applause with the team of actors alongside him. The direction is by Augusto Fornari.

The life of Gianmario and his wife Stefania is turned upside down by the arrival of her brother, Francesco, who the couple is forced to take into their home to allow the scammer to obtain house arrest. Gianmario, an upright businessman, is worried that the presence of his brother-in-law, a known fraudster, could harm the relationships he maintains with high prelates of the Vatican, for whom he works. But an unexpected financial setback will make Francesco the only way of salvation for the whole family. Once the curtain closes, Izzo returns to the stage: “Have everyone you meet come to this show, they must have the scam too”. Laughter in the room.
