Elio Cirimbelli celebrates the 50th anniversary of the diploma for the first graduates of the Nursing School at the Marienklinik
Elio Cirimbelli, pioneer in family mediation for separated couples and founder of the Asdi Center, invited to the press conference at the Marienklinik. He himself obtained his nursing diploma here 50 years ago. A cause for celebration and reflection on the history of the school.
The school, founded in December 1969, was a milestone for healthcare training in South Tyrol. It offered young women and men the opportunity to learn a useful and interesting profession through bilingual education. The training included both practical and theoretical elements, led by renowned professionals.
Sr. Maria Monica, one of the school’s first graduates, recalled the challenges and successes of the initial years. Her words were a tribute to the determination and dedication of the nuns who gave life to the school.
The jubilee celebration will be held on May 10 at the Marienklinik. In addition to a mass, it will be an opportunity for former students to reunite and share memories.
Modern nursing was also appreciated, with Hannes Plank, Director of Nursing Services at the Marienklinik, highlighting the importance of the profession and the many challenges and opportunities it offers.
