The security issue in Mondragone on the table of the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi in the aftermath of the guerrilla war that took place at the Cirio Palaces between gangs of foreigners.
This was announced by Lega MP Gianpiero Zinzi who highlights: “It’s no secret that there is a security problem in Mondragone, but this administration doesn’t seem to realize it. Already four years ago, during a visit together with Matteo Salvini and Nicola Molteni , we had found a state of abandonment and degradation. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed and the images of last night’s violent clash within the Bulgarian community in the center of Mondragone are the most evident evidence of this.” Zinzi, therefore, announces his intention to bring the issue “to the attention of Minister Matteo Piantedosi, who I will also turn to on the case of the burning car of an Urban Planning and Public Works manager of the Municipality – he underlines -. We need to restore order and legality for this community too.
“A terrible scene that proves how violence and madness are now the order of the day and how the streets of our territory are off-limits for respectable citizens. We will follow the evolution of the investigations to verify that the people involved in the clashes are identified and reported – comments the AVS deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli – We ask the mayor of Mondragone and the Prefect of Caserta to intervene by setting up a table for public safety. Episodes like this are not acceptable in the slightest, which is why we will report what happened to the attention of the Minister of the Interior given that he had promised more officers on the streets”, we read in a note.
