Paolo Giovannini It certainly needs no introduction. In his past, in addition to the period spent at Pistoiese, there are Lucchese, Massese, Castelnuovo and, above all, Pontedera, where he reaped successes and where he remained for 10 years (from 2012 to 2022). Now he is at Arezzo, secured with an 11-year contract (until 2034), where he is working very well and where he reached the Serie C playoffs for the second time, after being promoted from Serie D. But it is known that in football contracts can always be dissolved, even when they involve significant sums. In short, Giovannini would represent a guarantee of success for these categories, with his 7 promotions under his belt. An unparalleled curriculum. It may not be Giuntoli or Marotta, but his career speaks for itself. And who knows, maybe his trusty Paolo Indiani may also return to the orange bench with him: “Paolo & Paolo”, which for now remains a dream. When asked on the subject, as usual, Paolo Giovannini denied the news, even though it was confirmed to us by several other sources.
Andrea Mussi he was born in Carrara in 1977 and is a former Orange player having worn the colors in 2012/13. As sports director he has instead worked for Pavia, Pro Vercelli, Albissola, Carpi, Siena and Trapani. With the latter club he won the Serie D group I championship this season, well in advance, obtaining promotion to the higher category. A very clear victory thanks to his scouting skills and a company that has made large investments.
Massimo Taibi he has a very long career as a footballer behind him, defending the goal of Milan, Venezia, Manchester Utd, Reggina and Atalanta, to name the most important ones. He is also among the few goalkeepers to have managed to score a goal from open play in Serie A. As sporting director he worked for Montebelluna and Modena, before arriving at Reggina. And if he didn’t achieve great results in Emilia, on the shores of the Strait, where he landed in 2018, he earned promotion to Serie B in 2020. In 2023, however, he was forced to announce his farewell to the Amaranth club on social media after 5 years later and yet another bankruptcy of the company. This is the list of candidates for now, although it is not excluded that the list could be extended.
