Ferrara Under the Stars. Pfm arrives in Argenta

Ferrara Sotto le Stelle unveils the second event featuring the new location in Benvignante: PFM sings De André – Anniversary.

The prog band will stop in Ferrara Sotto Le Stelle on Tuesday 9 July at the Delizia Estense in Benvignante in Argenta. A place surrounded by greenery and recently restored, once the historic home of the Este family, which starting this year will host some of the Ferrara Sotto le Stelle concerts. The concert will in fact be the day after the already announced live performance of Fantastic Negrito (8 July).

Forty-five years after the “Fabrizio De André and PFM in concert” tour, Premiata Forneria Marconi returns to the scene with “PFM canta De André Anniversary”, a tour to celebrate the collaboration with the great Genoese singer-songwriter and once again propose a series of dedicated concerts to that event. To reawaken the embrace between rock and poetry, songs from “La Buona Novella” will also be added to the original setlist, completely reworked by the band.

During the concert Pfm will present on stage a lineup with three exceptional guests: Flavio Premoli (PFM founder) with his unmistakable magic on the keyboards, Michele Ascolese, Faber’s historic guitarist, and Luca Zabbini, leader of the Barock Project.

Thus Fabrizio de André: «Our tour was the first example of collaboration between two completely different ways of conceiving and performing songs. An unrepeatable experience because PFM was not a group of excellent musicians gathered for the occasion, but a group with an important history, which changed the course of Italian music. Well, one day they took all this and put it at my service…”.
