Eco-compatible living solutions and the promotion of vegan nutrition as a conscious choice for the health and well-being of the planet. On Sunday 5 May from 10am to 9pm, in the spaces of the Circolo Arcipelago in Via Speciano 4, there will be the first edition of Eco Cremonaa micro vegan festival dedicated to food sustainability and not only.
Born from the need to create a moment of aggregation on vegan and sustainability issues in Cremona, Eco Cremona is organized by Arci Cremona and Arcipelago in collaboration with the Centro Fumetto Andrea Pazienza and aims to be an opportunity to reflect on our environmental impact and the daily choices we can make for a more sustainable future. Through an informative and engaging approach, the festival aims to encourage the public to adopt a more environmentally conscious and respectful lifestyle.
The event, with free entry, is aimed at families, young people and adults, vegans, vegetarians and omnivores, and aims to tell the public about more eco-compatible lifestyle solutions and to promote vegan nutrition as a conscious choice for the health and well-being of the planet, and includes:
• Vegan food banquets: you can enjoy delicious dishes prepared by local and non-local companies, with 100% vegetable products (Cascina Marasco, Gea Eco Store, Naturally Green, Torrefazione Vittoria…)
• Information stands: you will find various organizations that promote sustainability and animal shelters, which will tell you about their projects and can answer your questions.
• Screenings and talks: two screenings “Speck – a changed destiny” at 12.30 pm and “Food For Profit” at 3.00 pm and two talks with famous influencers – Greta Volpi at 11.30 am and Alice Pomiato with No Waste Cremona at 7.00 pm they will address topics such as sustainable fashion, conscious consumption and waste reduction.
• Workshops for adults and children: a drawing workshop organized by the A. Pazienza Comics Center and a creative workshop for the creation of honey seed balls.
• Live music: local bands will entertain with live music interludes.
