Descriptive text here

A black gin, born on the slopes of Mont Blanc, to offer a sensorial experience made in Valle d’Aosta. In short, it is this Neige Noirethe new distillate born from the fervent mind of brothers Angelo and Matteo Sarica.

Neige Noire will be marketed starting from Monday 6 May and, from 6pm, it will also be accompanied by the release of a promotional short film.

Gin Neige Noire

Going into details, Neige Noire is a black Alpine ginthanks to the use of blueberries from Val Ferret.

Defined as «an experience that embraces the duality of human existence, inviting us to explore the boundaries between light and shadow», Neige Noire has among the alpine botanicals used, wild juniper berries, blueberries, alpine mint and pine buds, which they mix to give a unique taste.

And the name? It was born precisely from dualism between the black of the epic Noire, the wall north for the ascent to Mont Blancand the white snowwhich the mountaineer will find waiting for him at the end of his challenge.

Production

Produced in the Aosta Valley, the gin involves the infusion of mountain juniper berries in a hydroalcoholic solution for 90 days.

The distillation of the infusion takes place in a discontinuous bain-marie still, powered by renewable energy.

Next comes the maceration of wild blueberries, alpine mint and pine buds, in distilled gin for 60 days.

The short film

As mentioned, on the occasion of the market launch (on the negenoire.com website and in some selected sales points), on May 6th at 6pm, on the Neige Noire Youtube, Facebook and Instagram channelis expected online publication of the short film that contains the essence of Mont Blanc black gin.

The 2 minute film was directed by Davide Bongiovanni – ACR Production and sees the presentation of human duality, embodied by the protagonists Neige and Noire, an albino woman and a black wolf, immersed in an endless race, an eternal dance between light and shadow that takes place right on Mont Blanc.

The Sarica brothers

«Here we are happy to present the fruit of an ambitious and exciting project: our new gin, an expression of quality and dedication – he says Angelo Sarica, the “brother” who lives and works in Valle d’Aosta, where he is an appreciated professional in the food and beverage market -. The objective was clear: to create a gin that was not just a spirit, but a unique sensory experience. A gin that, unusually for the type of product, could be enjoyed alone, on the rocks, breaking the mold and surprising the palate. On this journey towards excellence, we have immersed ourselves in the richness of our territory, seeking inspiration in its unique traditions and resources. The other key to the success was the collaboration with the agronomist-oenologist Matteo Moretto and the support of Nicolas Bovard of the la Branche agricultural company and of Nicola Rosset and the staff of Distellerie Saint Roch».

Matteo Saricahowever, he lives in the USA, in Silicon Valley, where he works in the world of technology.

«Technology is the beating heart behind the Neige Noire project: from the website to e-commerce, passing through the creation of NFTs, each element was carefully developed internally by the Neige Noire team – he says Matteo -. Integrated e-commerce on the site allows customers to explore and purchase Neige Noire and soon upcoming products. Additionally, we are pioneering the use of NFTs to celebrate the art and creativity related to our brand. Through the creation of collectible Neige Noire NFTs, we are offering our customers the chance to own a tangible part of our history and vision.”
