Promoted by the National Association of the State Police Section of Arezzo, with the patronage of the Diocese of Arezzo, a meeting will take place tomorrow, 3 May 2024, to remember the figure of Don Paolo De Grandi, chaplain of the State Police, spiritual assistant of the Police Headquarters of Arezzo and priest of the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul of Campoluci (AR), who died prematurely on 15 July 2016.
The program of the event includes a meeting at 3.30 pm at the Olmoponte Sports facility, in via del Verrocchio, where the 5-a-side football matches between the following teams will begin: Selecao Sacerdoti di Calcio; Clericus Arretium, Vatican Gendarmerie; Friends of Don Paolo; State Police; Football Champagne Arezzo.
At 7 pm the meeting “The Gospel through football – Don Paolo De Grandi the Footballer Priest” will take place at the Hotel Minerva. The proceeds from the event will be donated to Caritas Arezzo and to the AIL of Arezzo Federico Luzzi onlus
