Since then, rituals and deadlines have only changed slightly, the city’s celebration has remained unchanged.

A month of celebrations, parades, races and competitions between the eight Contrade to win the precious cloth dedicated to San Giorgio, patron saint of Ferrara.

A warm May welcomes the participants in original costumes in parade through the streets of the center and the acrobatic flag-waving competitions in the Town Hall Square accompany us to the spectacular horse race in Piazza Ariostea.
