FOGGIA – This morning Anas (the infrastructural hub company of the Fs Italiane Group) delivered to the executing company “RTI Vittadello SpA (agent) – Di Vincenzo Dino &Co spa, Paving Technology srl” the works for the adaptation of the state road 16 “Adriatica” in the stretch between the municipalities of San Severo and Foggia, a project strongly supported by the local institutions present on site.
The following were present at the delivery: the Vice President of the Puglia Region Raffaele Piedmontesethe regional councilor for Transport and Sustainable Mobility Debora Cilientothe Mayor of Foggia Maria Aida Tatiana Episcopothe mayor of San Severo Francesco Miglioand the Head of New Works Anas Puglia Francesca Maria Marranchelli.
The intervention concerns the improvement of safety conditions And of service levels of the Adriatica state road between km 651,000 (connection to the S. Severo ring road) and Km 670,500 (connection to the Foggia ring road) for a total length of approximately 22.5 km. The project provides for adaptation to category C1 of the road surface, the construction of the docks, the installation of safety barriers and the optimization of the hydraulic pipelines. Subsequently, we will proceed with the construction of service roads and coplanar roads which will have the purpose of serving private accesses and absorbing the “slow” traffic made up of agricultural and heavy vehicles.
Completion is expected in three years.
For the realization of the works it was appointmentto an Extraordinary Commissioner, in the person of the engineer. Vincenzo Marzi, Head of the Territorial Structure Anas Puglia, to allow procedural simplification and implementation of the authorization and planning process in a short time.
