Live a unique experience through routes designed specifically for wine enthusiasts. Approach a world that over the years is building an interesting production chain by exploiting the attractive qualities of an excellent local product. All this is condensed in the philosophy of the “Happywine Experience”, a mini itinerant tour of Calabrian wines promoted by the Italian association “Enoguide-Evoguide”.
It is a real experiential journey through the knowledge of local wines and related traditions. This event will touch the territories of Sibaritide and Arberia.
The Happywine Experience program, in particular, includes three lessons in three different wineries.
The program
Let’s start Saturday 4th in San Demetrio Corone at Poderi Marini. Here the wine guides will hold a lesson on tasting techniques and food-wine pairing. The appointment is for 10am and for two hours we will immerse ourselves in the world of food and wine. The proposed focus of this event is “White wines, the main white vines grown in Calabria”.
The tour will continue Saturday 11th in Corigliano-Rossano in the Corno Valano estate where the association’s wine guides will hold a lesson on wine in the vineyard and the influence of the terroir on the organoleptic characteristics of the wines. On this occasion, maximum attention will be paid to “Red wines, the main red vines grown in Calabria”.
Finally the last stop of the tour is scheduled Saturday 18th starting at 10am at Palazzo Marino in Vaccarizzo Albanese. Here the lesson of the wine guides will focus on wine in the cellar, the production of white, red, sparkling and passito wines with a focus on Calabrian passito and sparkling wines.
They will be mini itinerant routes through the lands of Calabrian wines. An event relaunched by the same association «at each stage, we will delight your palate with guided tastings of different wines, accompanied by typical local culinary delicacies».
