The event – promoted and organized by the Rome Chamber of Commerce (www.makerfairerome.eu) – will be held from 25 to 27 October at the Gazometro Ostiense and will address all the key components of innovation: from digital manufacturing to the Internet of Things, from robotics to artificial intelligence, from agritech to digital manufacturing, through big data and aerospace, up to the latest discoveries of the metaverse and augmented reality. By participating in the Call for Makers you will have the opportunity to submit your idea to the curators and the selected ones will be able to use, free of charge, a space to exhibit their innovative project, be the protagonists of a talk or perform in public during Maker Faire Rome 2024. The Call for Schools, created in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit, is free and aimed at all national secondary schools and similar educational institutions belonging to European Union countries (students aged 14-18 years) . A jury of experts will select the most interesting and innovative projects, born at school, and the chosen institutes will be able to participate in MFR2024 and have a free physical or virtual exhibition space. For the institutes that are selected, participation in the event will be recognized as a valid activity for the Paths for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO).
