It will be the General Secretary of the National Press Federation, Alessandra Costante, who will inaugurate the exhibition dedicated to “The Trapani editorial team of La Sicilia: 1990 -2015” on May 8th at 4pm in the Trapani headquarters of Assostampa, in via Duca d’ Aosta 59 in Erice Casa Santa.
Present with her will be Antonello Piraneo, director of the regional newspaper, who was the first responsible for the editorial team, Roberto Gueli, president of the council of the Order of Journalists of Sicily, Mariza D’Anna, deputy head of La Sicilia, and Giuseppe Rizzuto, secretary regional of Assostampa.
“A cross-section of 25 years of news and history of Trapani – explains the provincial secretary of Assostampa Vito Orlando – which will scroll through photos and pages of the newspaper, the work of an editorial team that has been a point of reference and professional growth for many colleagues in this area , leaving a void that has not been filled.”
Following the training course reserved for journalists, accredited by the OdG, on the theme “From the right to information to the right of information, between news, gag rules and precarious journalism”, where together with Costante, the director and the national councilor of the FNSI Tommaso Daquanno and Roberto Ginex, the president of the regional council and the deputy secretary of Assostampa Sicily Tiziana Tavella and Roberto Leone and the secretary of Assostampa Messina Sergio Magazzù.
The exhibition will remain open until Sunday 12 March.
