Bad weather Piedmont, still lots of snow in the Alps: Gastaldi refuge submerged

Disturbed weather today too Piedmontwith widespread precipitation, even in the nature of reverse or storm. There snow level it is decreasing from 1800-2000 meters yesterday to 1600-1800 meters today: last night was in fact another night of heavy snowfall in the Piedmontese Alps, in particular between Graie and Pennine. To the Gastaldi refuge (in the upper Val d’Ala, Valli di Lanzo, above Pian della Mussa, at 2,659 meters above sea level) the accumulation of fresh snow in approximately 30 hours of snowfall is close to one meter, while the accumulation on the ground has now reached 286 cm (Arpa data).
