Forlì, to celebrate her wedding anniversary, the soprano gives a concert to the Zangheri retirement home

There are those who celebrate their wedding anniversary with a cruise, there are those who go to the spa: Miroslava Kozakova, soprano from the Czech Republic and former student of the singer Wilma Vernocchi from Forlì, chose instead Forlì. Not only that: together with her husband Jakub Kozak and their four children, Ema Helena (11 years), Matous Jakub (10 years), Norbert Jan (7 years) and Kristian Tomas (2 years), she decided to dedicate the day of celebration, Thursday 2 May (at 3.30 pm), to the guests of the “Pietro Zangheri” retirement home in via Andrelini. «Miroslava visited Zangheri during my presidency – says Wilma Vernocchi – and she was very impressed by the structure and the curiosity of her guests. So last January she wrote me an email in which she remembered that experience and asked me if a small concert by her and her family would be appreciated “as thanks for everything we have received thanks to her”, these are the words her. I could only respond affirmatively to such a kind and generous proposal.” The Czech couple will therefore spend their fifteenth anniversary together with their four children, but also with the guests of the retirement home, a gesture of altruism that is also striking because in the concert that will be held at the “Pullini” theater in Zangheri, the children will also perform , even little Kristian Tomas, just two years old. The secret of all this certainly lies in the big heart of this family, in love with music, Italy and Forlì, but also in a special relationship that binds Miroslava Kozakovaά and her teacher Wilma Vernocchi. «It is truly special and it excites me that this little family has decided to come from the Czech Republic to our city to sing in front of Zangheri’s guests – concludes the soprano from Forlì –. But it is also true that in addition to music, we are bound by strong values, a solidarity and a sense of self-giving and of one’s talent that go beyond the passage of time and lives.” Free admission.
