CORIGLIANO-ROSANO – After an apparent temporal truce, in Corigliano-Rossano the criminal phenomenon of cars being maliciously thrown into the fire at night for the most disparate motives to the detriment of the victims has once again resurfaced.
Last night, in fact, unknown criminals simultaneously set the ignition to two cars – a Renault Clio and an Opel Meriva – both parked along the same road, Via dello Sport allo Scalo Coriglianese, but far apart.
It was, therefore, a matter of two separate fireswhich had as victims two people with no criminal record, a greengrocer and a teacher, both local and living on the same street.
For the moment The plausible hypothesis that the two fires could be linked to a single motive is a mystery.
The carabinieri of the Mobile Radio Section under the Territorial Department intervened on site, together with the firefighters who carried out the extinguishing operations, and started the investigations of the case following the formal complaints made this morning by the two victims.
