Very harsh note from the Cuneo citizen circle of the Democratic Party in relation to what happened last April 29th in the city council when the centrist councilors abandoned the city council without any prior communication on the matter: “we ask that a majority clarification occurs soon to understand if we they are the conditions for moving forward, how and on which projects”
“On the eve of a very important vote on the city budget – write the Cuneo Dems in a note – the Centro per Cuneo council group left the city council chamber in protest. The reason was “explained” by the group leader and provincial councilor Vincenzo Pellegrino himself: the intent was “to clarify whether the entire majority force approved the latest developments on the issue of appointments in the Board of Directors of the CRC Foundation”, he candidly admitted in the following session.
“As the main majority group we are stunned by what happened” – he adds Erica Cosiosecretary of the club – “The Centro per Cuneo board group seems more interested in seats than in common work, and moreover there have been no shortage of unfortunate episodes in this period. This is why we ask that a majority clarification occurs soon to understand if there are the conditions to move forward, how and on which projects. We are working in the interests of the city, and for us it is urgent to change pace and find a balance that is more respectful of the common good, putting the present and future of this city and the needs of our fellow citizens at the center” concludes the secretary of the Cuneo PD, Erica Cosio.
