Will the well-known pastry chef no longer be a judge on Bake Off 2024? Another character takes his place and the indiscretion drives fans crazy.
Bake Off Italia is ready to open the doors of its twelfth edition. There is no start date yet but what is certain is that the sweetest program on Italian television has been confirmed.
It would seem that there will be some significant changes in the cast of the program and the rumors are driving fans crazy. There are rumors of an important changing of the guard: a judge would leave to welcome another highly qualified and loved one.
Damiano Carrara out of Bake Off 2024? Who would take over for him as judge
It is rumored that the judge Damiano Carrara this year he will remain out of the Bake Off 2024 program. The reason is probably due, as rumored on the web, to the “dislikes” that the pastry chef earned during his participation in Beijing Express where he is competing with his brother Massimiliano.
In fact, the pastry chef was the “architect” of the elimination of Benedetta Parodi’s husband and daughter, Fabio Caressa and Eleonora, from the Sky program. In front of the cameras there was an obvious moment of tension between Carrara and Caressa. So Damiano is experiencing a decline in popularity which could cost him his place in Bake Off 2024, but nothing is confirmed, we repeat, these are only hypotheses.
Instead they were confirmed to lead Benedetta Parodi and Ernst Knam And Tommaso Foglia as judges. Damiano Carrara is uncertain and could be replaced by a well-known face from the program and other very famous cooking shows (for example Masterchef), i.e. Iginio Massari. The maestro, much feared but appreciated, therefore becomes a permanent member of the cast and could take the place of Damiano Carrara and this indiscretion is driving fans crazy.
We still have to wait for confirmation of this and above all for an official start date of the program, probably the end of August (because the kick-off is usually at the end of August). In any case, the tent set up at Villa Borromeo d’Adda, in Arcore (MB) is about to reopen its doors and the competitors are ready to turn on their ovens and enchant everyone with their delicious desserts.
The program is produced by Banijay Italia for Warner Bros. Discovery and, as usual, will be broadcast on Real Time (DTT, 31). All we have to do is wait to find out if Damiano Carrara will really no longer be the judge of this much loved and followed program, and what role Iginio Massari will play instead, who will still be part of the cast.
