A 40-year-old attacks a motorist, gets the money she had in her wallet – 40 euros – and runs away; he is tracked down and arrested for robbery by the Montesilvano police
This is a Moroccan with a criminal record who, last night, was blocked by the police in an extremely dark alley, near Via Aldo Moro in Montesilvano.
In the last week, controls have been intensified in the area and the soldiers of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Montesilvano Company, this night, around 2.30, while they were passing through Via Di Blasio they were stopped by a citizen who was about to return home and who indicated a man, aboard a Fiat 600 parked a few meters away, who a few moments earlier had been attacked and beaten by an unknown person who had fled.
The police immediately reached the victim of the attack who had a bleeding face. The man told what had happened and provided a detailed description of the robber who was soon stopped and subjected to a personal search. He had the cash stolen from the victim on him.
He was first taken to the barracks in Montesilvano and subsequently, on the orders of the public prosecutor on duty at the Pescara Prosecutor’s Office, accompanied to the “San Donato” prison in Pescara.
