Labor Day, D’Angelo focuses on minimum wage

AVERSA – “Minimum salary immediately”, this is the commitment announced by Eugenia D’Angelocandidate for Mayor of Aversa for the movement’The Basilisk‘ on the occasion of Workers Day.

The provision

With the provision, all companies that work for the municipality of Aversa (including those involved through subcontractors) will be required to have a minimum hourly wage for their employees of no less than 9 euros.

Candidate D’Angelo’s statement

“It is a fair provision – claims D’Angelo – with which we can concretely help many workers who still today receive an insufficient salary to guarantee a dignified daily life. There are too many families in difficulty but Aversa politics has ignored their problems for years. The time has come to intervene decisively as has already happened in Bacoli, where the mayor Josi Della Ragione has transformed this dream of social justice into a concrete reality. The minimum wage is a just battle that I will carry on with all my strength” concludes the Basilisk candidate.
