Vandalism in via Ricci, Mayor consults Prefect and Police Commissioner
The note from the Municipality of Barletta
Acts of vandalism were recently carried out in Barletta in via Paolo Ricci, where unknown criminals stole the fire extinguishers from the Largo Primavera school, damaged cars and set off firecrackers and smoke bombs.
The episode, reported by residents to Mayor Cosimo Cannito and documented by video footage, is not isolated and generates fears for public and private safety.
In this regard, the mayor immediately informed the Prefect Rossana Riflesso and the Police Commissioner Alfredo Fabbrocini, making the filmed testimonies available and offering maximum collaboration “in order to identify and criminally prosecute the authors of the illicit acts as well as to obtain, all together, the better results for the protection of the interests of the community”.
