SAINT MARTIN IN PENSILIS. Special dedications, enthusiasm, collective celebration and fireworks in San Martino in Pensilis, for the blue and white epilogue of the Carrese 2024, once again an event that attracted thousands and thousands of people from all over lower Molise and beyond. The victory of the Carro dei Giovani, 13 years after the last time it ran in 2011, marked a turning point in the modern history of the Race.
Spring smells of competitive spirit for the competition that offers who will carry the statue of San Leo, patron saint of the community, in procession.
An edition characterized by the delays in meticulous checks, fortunately resolved without consequences on the possibility of it being played and which showed how compelling it can be.
The enthusiasm of a group like that of the Giovani which had repressed the cry of victory in its throat for too long has thus dissolved in an embrace of the square and this “break” in the Giallorossi’s dominance from 2012 onwards (except for the canceled editions ) will give even more spice to the rivalry with the Giovanotti and next year, on the thousandth anniversary of San Leo (celebrations which have already started this year) the wait for the rematch will be even more intoxicating.
