Twenty thousand euros to the engineer’s alleged killer Salvatore Coppola. Money that would have been paid only in part by the instigator of the crime into the hands of the perpetrator. An investigation that has taken a step forward since yesterday: yesterday the alleged instigator of the crime was arrested and the possible motive for the ambush of last March 12 was also reconstructed.

The 73-year-old ends up in cell Gennaro Petruccioriginally from San Giovanni a Teduccio and owner of a paint shop, also known for being the husband of Silvana Fucito (less than 20 years ago she was a victim of racketeering and indicated as a courageous entrepreneur in the fight against the Camorra; the woman is obviously unrelated to the engineer Coppola’s crime). A turning point, therefore, which offers other pieces of the investigative mosaic: Gennaro Petrucci he was stopped by Mobile on charges of having offered 20 thousand euros to Mario De Simone, the 64-year-old arrested on April 8th as the alleged perpetrator of the crime committed on March 12th, inside the garage of a market in Corso Protopisani. Motive? According to the investigations, Petrucci had denounced Coppola as he was held responsible for having won the villa with swimming pool in which Petrucci lives together with his wife Fucito at a real estate auction. He held him responsible for having set up an unclear procedure, as the leader of interests attributable to Salvatore Abbate (entrepreneur convicted in the Sma trial, owned four million euros in the cellar, ed.). Investigation conducted by prosecutors of the Naples Prosecutor’s Office Sergio Raimondi, Maria Sepe and Rosa Volpetomorrow the validation of the arrest against Gennaro Petruccias instigator of the crime.

The interceptions

The news emerged yesterday during the hearing of the review requested by Mario De Simone. Assisted by lawyer Melania Costantino, the 64-year-old De Simone declares himself innocent; defended by the criminal lawyer Antonio BucciPetrucci also says he is confident in the work of the judiciary, but also ready to demonstrate the correctness of his conduct.

But let’s go back to the arrest of the alleged instigator. Mobile investigation of the first manager Giovanni Leuci, the 73-year-old was stopped in the wake of environmental interceptions. In the Secondigliano prison, De Simone receives his daughters and asks them more than once to speak to “Aunt Anna” to get the lawyer’s money. Then, before leaving his daughters, he says that he is in the cell with «two old men, one of whom is called Gennaro Petrucci»: a forgery, which served to introduce the name of Gennaro Petrucci and to associate the topic of money with the alleged instigator. Intercepted on the phone, De Simone’s brother lets off steam, alluding to the economic aspect: «Why? Why? (he says regarding the engineer’s crime) For 20 thousand euros? But did they give him this money?”. He’s still in prison, that Mario De Simone he hisses to his daughters: «They have to give me another 14 thousand euros, get it from Aunt Anna…». Meanwhile, contacts between the alleged instigator Petrucci and the alleged killer De Simone also appear in the documents: comparing the cells of the two cell phones, it stands out that the two met on March 16 in Portici. Four days after the murder of the engineer: what was the purpose of the meeting? To pay a tranche of the agreed upon 20 thousand euros?
