DUC Trani: video-monitored municipal villa

The cameras of the video surveillance system installed in the municipal villa of Trani are of the latest generation and are equipped with functions that exploit artificial intelligence algorithms to improve data detection and recording.

The video surveillance system, which is already active and in operation, was presented by the manager of the UmUrban Commerce District, Mario Landriscina, together with the mayor of the city, Amedeo Bottaro, as president of the Duc Trani, and the representatives of the municipal administration .

“For the 200th anniversary of the villa, said Bottaro, the first objective was to put a stop to the many episodes of vandalism recorded in recent years. With the planning of the second tender of the Urban Commercial District we have video protected the villa, in particular the sensitive areas such as the play area. Many new eyes for everyone’s safety.”

The video surveillance system in the municipal villa was designed and installed by Cronotime srl through a tender on the MePa.

The system is built with fiber optic technology and connected directly to the operations center of all the police forces.

With a view to saving, the urban commercial district managed to have a data line integrated with the one already existing in the municipal park, thus avoiding wasting further funds for the connection of the new video surveillance cameras to a new dedicated data line.
