Violence against husband, removed from home – Teramo

MARTINSICURO. She, twenty years younger than him, had been harassing and beating him for some time: now the judge has removed her from her family home. The Carabinieri of the Teramo investigative unit carried out the precautionary measure against the woman, resident in Martinsicuro, as she was deemed responsible for the crime of domestic abuse against her spouse.
He was seventy years old, she was fifty, after their wedding (dating back about ten years ago) they moved to Martinsicuro. The relationship seemed to flow well until about a year ago, when the man, meeting with one of his sons, who lives in another city, confided to him that at home he was suffering violence from the woman. Despite his son’s insistence, the man never wanted to formalize the complaint. In the meantime, the Martinsicuro police received reports from some citizens who know the man and saw him with bruises and bruises on his face and body. At this point, the Carabinieri soldiers deepened their investigations by interviewing some of the couple’s neighbors and then moving on to the employees and owners of some businesses in the area. Once the mosaic was composed, the military had nothing left to do but inform the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Teramo, hypothesizing serious elements of responsibility for the woman regarding the mistreatment meted out to her husband. The Carabinieri report speaks of daily oppressive actions with insults and psychological violence but also heavy physical violence. Kicks in the face, slaps, spitting, even hitting the back of the head with bottles, remote controls and other objects. The man, for several months, suffered and, out of love, also agreed to remain silent. The woman made sure to tell her husband to keep quiet and not to talk to anyone, children, friends or others, because otherwise they would have separated and the man would have been left alone with no one by her side. That blackmail has been broken and now the woman has been removed from the family home with a ban on approaching the offended person. The 50-year-old will have to wear the electronic bracelet by decision of the judge for preliminary investigations of the Teramo court, who accepted the public prosecutor’s request on the basis of the investigations carried out by the Carabinieri.
