“He leaves us with a competent official, available for any problem – writes Commander Cannizzaro – at any time and day. Never once did he answer my call with phrases like: “I’m alone, I can’t do it” or perhaps “I have other priorities”. We shared 37 years of professional activity with him and when our roles changed his attitudes were highly professional and respectful. We shared a passion for music (he was a young drummer). I won’t deny that when he told me some time ago of his retirement, I said to myself: “And now, what do I do?”. Despite the holidays to be “served” he has not abandoned me in these last few months, I still often found him in his office, working.
