The disturbance that arrived in Italy on Tuesday 30 April and Thursday 2 May will slowly move eastwards, still causing some instability in some Italian regions. Temperatures will drop in the South and in Sicily. Over the weekend, in particular on Sunday 5th, the influence of the Azores anticyclone should impose itself with a consequent rise in temperatures.
In detail, on Friday 3 May there are still some showers in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas of the north-east; Scattered showers also in Lazio and Campania, afternoon showers and thunderstorms in Abruzzo, Molise and Puglia. Windy day in the South and on the islands, in particular intense westerly winds on the middle and lower Tyrrhenian Sea.
Between the night and the morning of Saturday 4 May another disturbance will touch the North, associated with scattered showers, more likely in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas and in the North-East; during the day it improves across all northern regions. Temperatures will remain normal. On Sunday the improvement will be more evident with generally more stable weather and slightly warmer weather throughout the country.
