In Reggio, the alarm was raised by a passerby who heard the screams
He heard a woman screaming and asking for help and called 112 Nue, starting a brief police investigation which led to the issuing of a ban on a man from approaching the offended party.
The officers from the Gioia Tauro police station, who arrived on site, found the woman agitated and in shock and with a stab wound to her head.
The victim stated that she had been attacked by her ex-partner, of Tunisian origins, who had secretly entered her apartment through a window and had attacked her before fleeing before the officers arrived.
Then she told of previous mistreatment and violence she always suffered from her ex-partner.
The investigations carried out by the investigators of the Gioia Tauro Police Station led the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Palmi to issue the precautionary measure prohibiting approaching the offended party and the obligation to report to the Prosecutor’s Office for the crimes of domestic abuse, personal injury and housebreaking.
