BUSTO ARSIZIO – Tragedia near the Busto Arsizi train stationor the Gallarate-Milan line. A 35-year-old man was hit and killed by a train this evening, April 30, just before 8pm.
A 118 ambulance, two medical vehicles and firefighters are operating on site but it was all in vain; the man died. Carabinieri and railway police patrols are also present in the Bustocco airport area. According to what Ferrovie dello Stato reports “on the Milan-Gallarate/Varese line from 7.45 pm railway traffic has been suspended in the Gallarate direction between Legnano and Busto Arsizio due to a person being hit by a train”.
The police are now busy reconstructing the facts.
