500 students “At safety school”

The event which took place last week at the Melotti Auditorium in Rovereto involved 12 local institutes, awarded by the Autonomous Province of Trento for their themed projects with a prize fund of 180 thousand euros

On Tuesday at the Melotti Auditorium in Rovereto there were 500 students from Trentino for the “At the school of safety” event. The initiative, organized by the Autonomous Province of Trento to raise awareness among young people on the issues of accident prevention and accidents at work, saw the participation of 12 high schools.

The institutes of Trento, Rovereto, but also Arco, Cavalese, Levico and S. Martino di Castrozza participated in the first edition of the call of the same name. Each one, involving a group of at least 50 students, presented a project to raise awareness of safety in the forestry sector, but also in factories, personal care services and the hotel industry.

Now they will have until the end of the school year to put them into practice. To do this, they will have a voucher worth 15 thousand euros, to be spent also on guided tours and themed educational trips in the provincial territory.

The event at Melotti, moderated and animated by Lucio Gardin, ended with the theater show “Ocjo alla Sicurezza”, curated by the Ocjo collective.
