“Materia” is the title of the third meeting organized by La Capagrossa coworking, leaders Ivan Iosca and Giorgia Florio, included in the Galattica network, the initiative of the Puglia Region organized by the Youth Policy Section and ARTI – Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation designed to provide young people from Puglia with information, accompaniment and support services for activation and to promote peer animation actions in the area.
A plastic material workshop open to all children of the association from Trani Bisceglie and Ruvo.
“A new experience for our kids, declares Raffaella CAIFASSO, president of Contestolab. It is often thought that they are unable to understand the extent and rules of recycling. In reality we realized that not only did they have a lot of fun separate the caps, but they also understood that they will then be transformed into something different. In fact, the kids had already had the opportunity to see the various steps to arrive at the new finished product in the La Capagrossa Coworking center in Ruvo di Puglia”.
There was great participation in the workshop. A success aimed at informing on the topic of the reuse of plastics in terms of environmental impact.
“We started from bottle caps, imagining a different future for them from what we are used to seeing, that is, finding them in the seas or dispersed in the environment, explains Ivan Iosca, manager of the La Capagrossa coworking center in Ruvo.
We collected them, separated by color and crushed them. Then with technological tools we studied new forms of reuse.”
An environmental protection project that concerns everyone without any difference. Everyone in their own way and within their possibilities can contribute to making our planet more livable.
