The new competitive season of the Legnano Knights begins and the first piece of the puzzle of the first team is the coach who is also for the 2023/2024 season Paolo Piazzathus honoring the two-year contract that the two parties had already signed last summer.
After a season of ups and downs which ended with ninth place in the standings, Paolo Piazza met with the Knights management and discussed the season just ended at length, agreeing on some technical guidelines which will also be sought during the construction of the new team.
Before arriving in Legnano, Piazza trained as a basketball player in the youth sector of Forti e Liberi Monza, a club with which he also made his debut as a coach in Serie B2.
In the same category he will then also coach in Como and then Garlasco in Serie C.
In 2008 the call from Piacenza arrived with which in 3 years he took the Emilian team from Serie C1 to LegAdue.
He moves to Varese, Robur Et Fides side, in Serie B2; in 2014 he was at Robur Saronno, in Serie C Gold, with which, at the second attempt, he dominated the Championship and won the Playoffs, giving the Saronno team the joy of promotion to Serie B.
Subsequently he is with Edimes Pavia Basket, with whom he will once again dominate the Regular Season, narrowly missing the third consecutive final.
In 2017 he landed in Vigevano with which he remained for 6 years until the happy end of the 2023/2024 championship.
